There are so many changes going on around us, how do we keep up? How do we maintain? How do we stay in touch with life?

I have a calendar. This calendar has EVERYTHING on it, I mean everything. I plan most of my moments down to when I will play or pray with my child.  Most days, I accomplish my schedule to the fullest. Some days, I fail. But…everyday I know that God blessed me with the time and I am grateful for what was done.

There are people out there that think I am crazy for my schedule and there are people that want to do the same. You can make one for yourself, just ask and I will help!!

I am one happy person when I don’t have to “move” things around and feel like I actually DID something that day when it is completed.

I schedule my alarms on my phone to remind me to move my body, drink water, pray for people, check my daughter’s homework, and even her bath and bedtimes have reminders. I schedule my homework time, grocery shopping time, meal prep time, and even my meal plan is on this calendar. This calendar helps me get to appointments on time, pay our bills on time, and it keeps me from getting too self-absorbed so that I don’t neglect those I love.  I even schedule out fun time, rest time, or just plain stopping time! We all need that.

Those of you that laugh at me or make fun of my schedule, I bet you really wish you had one of your own. The rest of you, thanks for your support!

So, make your own calendar and enjoy lufe’s moments!

I am not your typical Texas Girl. I do not wear makeup and do my hair up big! I do not eat out every night, like so many around us. I do enjoy to being with my husband and children and have truly enjoyed it for the last 22 years. Yes, we fight, yes we disagree but we never chose any other life. We fight for one another and our family that is near us. We stand strong against adversity and never sway in our beliefs even when it is going against the grain. We have been blessed in many ways by the God above and remain amazed at the gifts and blessings He has poured over our children. Our walk has had ups and downs but we always return to one another. God Bless each of you reading this blog page!
