Kindeness

What is kindness? Dictionary.com states kindness is the state or quality of being kind.  God says kindness is showing gentleness, being helpful, be willing, and take initiative towards one another.

Gentleness is to be careful how you treat one another, never unnecessarily speaking harshly, showing sensitivity to one another, being tender towards another, and always speaking the truth in “love”.

Helpful is meeting the needs of others within the moment, and ensure the other’s needs are fulfilled.

Willingness is being agreeable, flexible, and seek compromises while accommodating one another.

Take initiative.  Be able to see ahead, realize the needs of others before they are verbalized.

I know that we all, as Christians, seek this within our marriages.  We try to be the spouse God designed within us but our humanistic nature takes over at times.  It overrules our thoughts and our intentions.  It can even devour our ability to be kind.  But God can restore these things.  He can provide us with all the tools necessary to live a happy and loving life with the spouse He designed for us.

I saw in a meme on facebook one time; “God does not send you another man’s wife to be your’s.”  This does not mean a divorced man, as some may take it to extreme.  This means a married man or woman is not what God has sent for you to live and love with.  God will send you a Godly man that was perfectly designed for you.

We all struggle with the path we are on and I know that I fall, a lot!  I always get back up and face the issue HEAD-ON.

God will provide us the ability to be gentle to our loved ones, provide helpfulness, be willing to make changes, show initiative within each moment of our lives.  I know that HE will give you the ability as HE will myself.

God Bless each of you!-J

I am not your typical Texas Girl. I do not wear makeup and do my hair up big! I do not eat out every night, like so many around us. I do enjoy to being with my husband and children and have truly enjoyed it for the last 22 years. Yes, we fight, yes we disagree but we never chose any other life. We fight for one another and our family that is near us. We stand strong against adversity and never sway in our beliefs even when it is going against the grain. We have been blessed in many ways by the God above and remain amazed at the gifts and blessings He has poured over our children. Our walk has had ups and downs but we always return to one another. God Bless each of you reading this blog page!
